Mindful Analysis

Online Coaching via E-mail

The method Mindful Analysis was developed in the Netherlands by Mirjam Windrich. In this type of online coaching, the contact between you and me takes place exclusively via e-mail. In cases of daily e-mail exchange, good results were obtained with Mindful Analysis after only one week coaching. However, we can individually agree on how often the e-mail contact is to take place. It is important that regular contact is made and the writing process is not interrupted by breaks of more than three days.

The name of this method derived from the terms “Mindfulness“ and “Analysis“. Mindfulness (that is attention, attentiveness) points out to the fact that as a client you sit in silence and alone at your computer, focusing only on yourself, observing your thoughts and letting your creativity run free. And since you want to know how things are, what you can do and will do, it is necessary to perform an analysis of the current situation and its possibilities. You take care of this analysis yourself. My job during the coaching process is to ask specific questions and thus make you think about yourself and help you gain new insights.

Mindful Analysis consists of four phases:

• Describing the current situation
• Finding out the background
• Defining possibilities
• Setting up an action plan

These phases are triggered automatically during the writing process and are experienced in different ways. As a client, you decide how often you want to write to me, how much you want to write and what you want to write about. I will adjust to your individual needs.
